Beautiful sunsets. Perfect spot to watch the solar eclipse!

As we entered the house from the back, we found the view of the lake instantly mesmerizing. The unscreened porch is very large with many chairs and a good sized table. Access was quick and easy with code. The kitchen/dining room area is large, clean, with multiple windows. Dawn left many extra useful kitchen items and a dozen fresh eggs for us. The living room has a sliding glass door with a beautiful view of the lake. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 Baths. There is also a small cozy sitting room with a couch that converts to a bed. It was cool enough not use any A/C but we had several fans going before the night cooled down. The wind from Oneida Lake mostly did that every day. We saw much wild life - geese, otter, fish, hawk and eagle. There were boats and jet skis on the lake at times but it was not noisy. There were neighbors right nearby but all was quiet for all 8days. I would like exhaust fans in the bathrooms and better landscaping. I do hope we can return next year. Thx!

This home is exactly as advertised! It's a quiet neighborhood on beautiful Oneida Lake! We are from Florida and the waves crashing in sounded more like the beach and we loved it! Groceries, gas, and restaurants are all close by. Loved the convenience of a 30-minute drive from the airport. We needed ample sleeping space including 2 bathrooms which was hard to find in that area! We were treated with SMORES which was a really nice touch! We didn't cook anything there that required more than a microwave but the kitchen is well-stocked. The owners made sure we had the portable AC units (for my Dad) which we needed for July. The sliding doors are terrific and we even left the front door open to enjoy the lake breeze. The bedroom windows were a little tough but we managed everything just fine and really enjoyed our stay. We even had fireworks across the lake one night which was another treat!
