me and my partner loved our stay at bryan and joan’s cottage. it was all we could have asked for when looking for a private and peaceful holiday away. the communication with bryan and joan was amazing, they left no questions unanswered and helped us with everything! their never ending recommendations for sight seeing and restraints kept us busy and never stuck on what to do or where to go, they really made everything super easy and stress free ! we couldn’t thank them both enough for their hospitality and we will for sure be back soon enough !

Bryan is one of the best Airbnb host I have ever encountered! Friendly, approachable, proactive in making sure that we are comfortable, always checking in on us, offered his help in every small little details such as helping to set up the fireplace, and working the barbecue pit. He took such initiative in making sure we were comfortable and even taking time out to share with us places that we could and should visit along great ocean road! I will forever remember his hospitality. Ever so grateful. His place, no words for it. Squeaky clean, private, beautiful view. He had all the amenities required even bandages and emergency kit. Even the shower gels and shampoos were of l’occitane brand. Kitchen was filled with all the amenities, and equipments required for cooking, sauces, condiments, seasonings all present. If given a choice, I wish I had opted to stay longer at least 4 nights! Can’t get enough of the view, the beautiful clean home and Bryan’s friendliness!!

Amazing weekend away! Cosy cottage with stunning views

From the moment we walked into Cottage 2 at Points South by the sea, we began to relax. The decor is peaceful and comfortable, the view from the balcony, living area and bedroom is outstanding and was a constantly changing source of pleasure. Bryan gave us time to settle in then introduced himself and showed us a few quirks of the cottage, as well as providing a few further ideas for activities , before leaving us to enjoy our surroundings. Bryan provided lots of suggestions via email prior to our arrival, which helped us to plan our trip, and for which we were most grateful. He was also very responsive if we required assistance during our stay. That was very much appreciated. We look forward to returning to this lovely airbnb in the future.

This is the second time we have stayed at Point South by the Sea and we'll be back again. The houses are exactly as they look in the photos and are spotlessly presented (we stayed at no2 this time and no3 last time). Bryan and Joan are great hosts - very responsive. We also enjoyed the little surprise treats they left for us on arrival. The weather was terrible this trip, but it was lovely to sit and read in the beautiful window nook and watch the raging ocean, feeling so snug and cosy inside. A great spot to just unwind. You do need to be aware - there are no shops or cafe's in walking distance. There are lots of them only a short drive away. We were very happy to trade the convenience in favour of the peacefulness and seclusion of Point South.
