This home is a gem in the Adirondacks! The house itself is comfortable, with a large kitchen, and living room/dining room area, and a beautiful, expansive porch facing the water. It is rustic and charming in the Adirondacks style, but is clean and well-appointed with all the conveniences anyone would need. It's right on the lake with easy, direct access to swimming and boating. The dock is a great area to sit and enjoy a book, chat with friends or just watch all the activity on the water. There is not a beach on the property, which could be inconvenient for families with small children, but our older children were able to swim and play in the water right off the dock. Brian is a great host- he was very communicative about check-in/check-out- and I'm sure he would have been equally responsive if we had run into any issues, which we didn't. We couldn't have been happier with our stay!

This is a great place. The view is amazing! We had elderly parents with us and the steps were steep for them but they took their time and still enjoyed the place. We loved the place!

The place was great. Just like the pictures. Brian was very responsive and always answering my questions. It was clean and well kept up with.

We had a great week at Brian’s place! The lake and dock are truly magical and the cabin has a very cool classic Adirondack feel. There was a lot of space for our group to spread out in the common areas, which was nice. The bedroom with two double beds was smaller and probably best used as a kids room. Additionally, this is very much the type of Airbnb where you are staying in someone’s place, so you will have the owner’s stuff around and it has a lived in feeling. Not necessarily a bad thing as it contributes to a laid back vibe, but it definitely feels like your borrowing a friend’s place more than renting from a professional property owner. All in all a great stay and I would recommend the place to others.
