Chalet Chocolat Double is the perfect base for your stay in the mountains, in the heart of the Chamonix valley, just a 10min walk from the centre of town you can easily access all parts of the valley with a bus stop and train station right on your doorstep. This chalet has a private garden, 2 log burning fireplaces and a jacuzzi. Private parking off the road and stunning views of the Mont Blanc from the bedroom balconies. The Chalet can sleep up to 14 people. Chalet Chocolat Double is a bright 14 bed property with plenty of charm. From the private parking area which easily has enough space for 3 cars, you can access your private ski locker room with laundry facilities. Upon entering the main chalet you will find a large, welcoming living room with a comfy sofa and a table full of board games. Perhaps you could light the log burning fire for that cosy winter atmosphere! The jacuzzi is just outside the large glass window and from the private back garden you have a fantastic view of the Mont Blanc massif. The bonus of Chalet Chocolat double is that there is a second living and dining area including another kitchen in the rear part of the house with access to the private decking and garden complete with outdoor seating tables and a BBQ you are welcome to use. The kitchen has all the basic facilities needed to cook meals and there is also a WC on the ground floor. Each bedroom is equipped to sleep 2 people for a comfy nights sleep and can be arranged as either 2 single beds or 1 double. These will be made as a double by default unless specified in your booking so please do enquire when booking. Each bedroom has an en suite (3 have baths, 4 have showers). Please excuse the crinkles on the bed sheets! As an eco-concious chalet we value the environment, as such we have made the decision to keep the laundry system 'in-house', this reduces our carbon footprint by saving on vehicle transfer (often to Italy), eliminates wasteful plastic packaging and has the added benifit of making your stay a little cheaper! There is a domestic Wi-Fi connection throughout the property and the TV shows UK Freesat (only).

We had a nice visit and Lorna was a responsive host. The setting is stunning and the house is quite comfortable. There were several challenges with the stay. We didn’t have hot water the first night of the stay, but that was fixed quickly the next day. Only one of the two hot tubs that were in the listing when we booked were available, and it took a day to reach temperature. The Wi-Fi speed was extremely slow/unusable. Otherwise, the house was as described and the views are amazing.
Great accommodation, slightly out of town but easy to walk to bars/restaurants. Quick responses from Lorna. Nice bedrooms and hot tubs were a great addition.
Truly Wonderful! We had a beautiful stay at chalet chocolat, so much space for 11 people with a bathroom for each room, the bus into town is so close by and the chalet had everything we needed. A perfect location to try out plenty of slopes and enjoy local restaurants, bakeries and shops. We fell in love with the place and felt right at home. Lorna provided great information and was very kind, our ski holiday was perfect, can’t wait to come back!

For a group of 12 it was super plenty of space warm, clean. Log fires, hot tubs easy access to the slopes once your figure out the bus system. We cooked every night plenty of equipment. Couldn’t fault the whole experience ⛷️ definitely would return.

Les Pelerins is a delightful part of the Chamonix valley, it has the benefit of being close enough to the centre of town that you can walk in to enjoy the high street (15mins walk) but far enough away to feel peaceful and calm. The Lake opposite the chalet reflects beautiful views of the mountains and just next to it is a wonderful Hotel Restaurant, Le Vert, which offers fantastic food, local beers, a pool table and a very welcoming atmosphere.
The park opposite the chalet is well known in the summer as a beginners rock climbing paradise and is a great way to access the Aiguilles Rouge national park walks. Please read the 'Location - getting around' part of the description to hear about access to ski areas!
Les Pelerins has its own small shopping area just a 2min walk from the house which includes a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, butchers and pizza restaurant.

Les Pèlerins est une partie charmante de la vallée de Chamonix, il a l'avantage d'être assez proche du centre-ville pour que vous puissiez vous y promener pour profiter de la rue principale (15 minutes à pied) mais assez loin pour vous sentir paisible et calme. Le lac en face du chalet reflète de belles vues sur les montagnes et juste à côté se trouve un magnifique hôtel restaurant, Le Vert, qui propose une cuisine fantastique, des bières locales, une table de billard et une atmosphère très accueillante.
Le parc en face du chalet est bien connu en été comme paradis de l'escalade pour débutants et est un excellent moyen d'accéder aux promenades du parc national des Aiguilles Rouge. Les Pèlerins a sa propre petite zone commerciale à seulement 2 minutes à pied de la maison qui comprend un supermarché, une pharmacie, une boulangerie, une boucherie et une pizzeria.
Our chalet has great public transport options, especially if you are trying to get to the different ski areas!
There is a bus stop very close to the house, less than 100m's, turn left from the chalet and you will see it near the end of the road. Blue buses go up towards Argentiere and Red buses from the other side of the bridge go towards Les Houches. Every bus goes to the centre of town, this journey takes 5 mins and usually buses are free. You can use these buses to access every ski area in the valley, some journeys will take longer than others, you can find much more detail on the Chamonix website.
Trains from Les Pelerins station are regular, 2mins walk from the chalet and a great way to travel to Switzerland for a different ski day if you fancy.
Of course if you have a car you can go anywhere! We have private parking for up to 4 cars on our driveway and are located less than 5mins from the Mont Blanc Tunnel and your gateway to sunny skiing in Italy.

Il y a un arrêt de bus tout près de la maison, à 100m, tournez à gauche du chalet et vous le verrez vers la fin de la route. Les bus bleus montent vers Argentière et les bus rouges de l'autre côté du pont vont vers Les Houches. Chaque bus va au centre-ville, ce trajet dure 5 minutes et généralement les bus sont gratuits. Vous pouvez utiliser ces bus pour accéder à tous les domaines skiables de la vallée, certains trajets prendront plus de temps que d'autres, vous pouvez trouver beaucoup plus de détails sur le site de Chamonix.
Les trains depuis la gare des Pèlerins sont réguliers, à 2 minutes à pied du chalet et un excellent moyen de se rendre en Suisse pour une journée de ski différente si vous le souhaitez.
Bien sûr, si vous avez une voiture, vous pouvez aller n'importe où ! Nous avons un parking privé pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 4 voitures dans notre allée et sommes situés à moins de 5 minutes du tunnel du Mont Blanc et de votre porte d'entrée pour le ski ensoleillé en Italie.
