L'endroit est tres beau mais la maison nécessite plus d'entretien et quelques réparations sérieuses (moustiquaires percées, portes voilées, dalles exterieures cassées, état piscine limte, etc.). Par ailleurs l'ensemble est un peu vieillot et la vaisselle très insuffisante pour 9 personnes. Points positifs : bonne literie, maison spacieuse, équipements exterieurs agréables, environnement calme et joli a proximité immédiate de chevaux.

The house and gardens are beautiful, though quite remote. The property is split into two separate flats with separate entrances and kitchens, which isn't clear from the listing and could be inconvenient. The wifi only seemed to work if you're inside and is a bit intermittent, but there's phone signal. The property is managed by an agency, not Richard as far as I know, and in our experience they weren't very helpful. The review would be better if it wasn't for a specific issue which I expect is unusual but which was a big problem for us. When we arrived the pool was empty. Some people who live near the house and seem to manage it tried to explain but spoke no English. They put me on the phone with someone who I think is from the agency but who also spoke no English. They explained in French, which I speak a little. We didn't get a good understanding of what was happening with the pool and contacted Airbnb support the next day and got a refund. We checked out and went somewhere else.

Wonderful house with character. Remotely located so if you’re looking for peace & quiet you found it. Pool is great and well maintained. The house itself could use a bit of maintenance but most stuff works ok

Gorgeous place, lovely surroundings. The house was great and cosy. Communication with host might be better though it was not terrible. I would definitely recommend the place.

First of all the house is fine and the pool is nice. It said it was 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms but does not mention it is broken into 2 separate units. the inside of the house is nice, very rustic but was fully equiptment which was nice. For us it was to far away from the sites we wanted to see but that is our fault for not doing more research. Communication with our hostess was bang on she responded instantly to all of our questions and comments whether good or bad. We had a bit of miscommunication with the heating price which was to be added to our bill which was a deterent from booking with extra fees being added to the final price. Again our problem for doing that kind of airbnb. Other than that nothing wrong with the home in general.
