Stayed here last week . Perfect location for walking distance to both old town an marina . There is a supermarket well stocked at reasonable prices less than 100 yards . There is pubs cafes restaurants also near by . The villa was very spacious we went with 5 adults an 4 children an there was plenty room for more people . Outdoor pool an bbq area was great for both adults an kids . Would highly recommend an would definitely be staying here again

We stayed here in the last week of March 2023. Heated pool s essential this time of year based on our experience as it's not hot enough in general to heat a pool. Check in times are very strict (10am Check Out and 4PM Check In) and we understand why as the full house needs to be cleaned (all rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, pool, etc). When you're travelling just bare this in mind. It wasn't a huge deal, but we had small kids so arriving a few hours earlier could have been an issue. There's a lock box for the keys with a code, which is super, because you can leave the keys there when going on day trips. Keys are expensive to replace, so it's worth having the lock box for them. The house in general is superb and has an outdoor BBQ. The oven isn't very good for cooking big meals, but the pool, kitchen, bedroom storage, etc are all superb. Towels get changed as well during the stay. The rooftop terrace is great for relaxing and has great views as well. Supermarket is 2 mins walk away.

We had a great stay in Villa Matira. The property was clean and newly refurbished, with a lovely pool (it was cold in September so I would recommend having it heated). The Villa has all of the essentials. Towels were replaced mid way through the week which was great. Location is great - supermarket around the corner and 10 minutes walk to both Albufeira old town and the marina where there are lots of great restaurants. The views are beautiful over the sea - especially from the roof terrace! Communication was great - we lost hot water at one point but it was fixed within 1 hour. It is a townhouse with lots of steps which was fine for us but wouldn’t recommend for people that struggle with steps. Highly recommend for families and couples.

La villa est superbement bien agencé tout le confort y est présent, une vue à couper le souffle avec une piscine magnifique privé des extérieurs où nous avons pu faire griller du poisson frais que nous avions été chercher au marché le matin. Les chambres sont toutes bien agencé la cuisine est très pratique. L’emplacement de la maison dans Albuféra est juste superbe à cinq minutes à pied de la plage cinq minutes à pied du centre-ville une minute un centre commercial vraiment une semaine extraordinaire merci à notre hôte David pour cet accueil. La maison était très propre à notre arrivé. William et Nadège
