First and foremost Mokko cooks the best and most authentic Ital food in Jamaica! Every morning Mokko prepares a breakfast and a dinner in the afternoon. I suggest having also the healing and strengthening bush tea that Mokko makes daily with different varieties. The surrounding nature is pure and lush. You can request Mokko to show you around his amazing farm as well as take you up the river where you will find a stunning scenery, or for a hike up to Higher Heights for a nice view of the valley. You will be staying right there on the yard and also meet Mokko's family so you will have a full experience of real Jamaican life.

Transfer von und zum Flughafen hat wunderbar geklappt. Mokkos Resort ist ein wunderschöner Ort mitten im Nirgendwo. Kommunikation hat einigermaßen geklappt. Essen und Ausflüge waren wunderbar.

Upon arrival, no greeting or any form of tour of The place and surroundings, location is in The middle of nowhere without any access to transportation besides getting The private ride and its very overpriced, The host was talking rudely about guest and people in general not very much respect for women either, besides that The F Word was yelled loud at The youngest kid on The yard from early morning till evening, we felt forced to constantly have to take tours and couldnt go anywhere on our own, when we asked for help or directions our host just laughed at us, and when we had to leave and asked for a private ride to our next destination our host kept changing when we had to leave and kept us waiting from 9am to 2pm and before dropping us off at our next destination he blamed us for being late to Pick up his next guests in The airport, we had The same thing for dinner and breakfast more or less 3days in a row, and we were charged for tap water tea we didnt ask for, overall very bad vibes

As always, we had a wonder time with Mokko and his family. He is an amazing individual and an asset to his community. Great food, great people, great conversation and excellent hiking & fishing. Mokko can take you on some nice hikes to wonderful places. I will stay here every time I come to Jamaica. I'm already looking forward to coming back.
