I have stayed at more than 35 Airbnb's and this one may be my absolute favorite. The design of this small cottage is immaculate and absolutely gorgeous. Everything -- from the bed linens to the kitchenware -- is of exceptional quality. Suzy was extremely responsive when I asked how to operate the fireplace outside. The bed is so, so comfortable that I truly never wanted to leave. There are plentiful trees and nature outside, where there are multiple places to relax. Just five minutes away, you'll find a lovely ~2 mile hiking trail. I am already scheming to come back! One small word of caution: I'm a 5' 4" small person, and this is a small space. The ceiling is low in the bedroom and the stairs are tight -- I wouldn't book if that might be a concern.

When looking for a relaxing mountain getaway, I found Suzy's place to have everything I wanted in description and pictures. But when I saw the place in person, it was even better than I imagined. Suzy was friendly, prompt, and informative from the day I booked, and throughout our stay continued to communicate and make sure we were taken care of. On top of all that, she made sure to provide so many complimentary items that we felt right at home and welcome. The place was clean, decorated beautifully, and so very cozy. It also had the BEST bed I've ever slept on. I didn't want to leave! It's definitely worth staying here for the peace, quiet, and relaxing getaway from the hectic city life I have. I would absolutely love to stay here again and highly recommend anyone else to stay here too! Thank you again Suzy for letting us stay in your incredible home.

Suzy’s Acorn Cottage was probably one of my favorite Air B&Bs that I have stayed at! It looks even better than in the pictures. Suzy was also great at communicating any time I had a question about anything. Had such an amazing trip! 10/10 would recommend!

Such an awesome stay! Everything looked exactly liked the photos. The bed was insanely comfortable. The design of the home was beautiful. Suzy was always prompt with responding. Felt right at home. Couldn’t have asked for a better place. We will be back soon!

Suzy’s place was absolutely amazing!! I had it bookmarked for months and finally ended up booking it for our wedding in Lake Arrowhead! Suzy was so accommodating; she graciously allowed my makeup artist and a couple other people to be at the house with me while I got ready on my wedding day. An issue came up with a neighbor regarding parking but the hosts were extremely apologetic over the phone about it, when it was actually my fault lol. They even left us a bottle of wine and chocolates with a sweet note wishing us well on our wedding day! The house was so clean and decorated BEAUTIFULLY. The location was stunning and so quiet and peaceful. I already have plans to book this for our 1 year anniversary next April!
