This was such a beautiful vacation home! Perfect for families with children as it is so quiet and the beach access is a short walk across the road. We enjoyed the rocky beach (no sand to clean up!) The kayaks and all the floating for hours. The peaceful morning view of the lake will be missed. The house is set up for lots of seating/guests to enjoy. We loved all the appliances too, including the slow cooker and air fryer. All the extra little touches made it feel like home! I would absolutely recommend this spot and we plan to head back next year because we loved it so much!

We had a great stay at Russell‘s place with two families – four adults and six kids ages 8-11. It is is spacious and reasonably well equipped. As mentioned in earlier reviews, there is no hairdryer or many spices, condiments so plan to bring your own. Great location, private, beautiful, very close to groceries and other amenities. We would definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay here! Three generations (8 adults, 2 kids) stayed here most comfortably. There are three bedrooms on the second floor, a loft bedroom on the 3rd floor, and an extra bedroom on the main floor with a triple-bunkbed. The fire-table on the main floor deck was where we spent most of our time. We really made use of the kitchen and were able to make a full Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings - there was enough pots/pans/casserole dishes. A great place to stay!

The place was spotless, not a spec of dust anywhere, the cleanest we've ever stayed at. Lake Country is a peaceful community, very quiet. Great Folks.

Our family takes an annual one week holiday every summer. There are 11 of us including my mother (age 87), niece, nephew, aunt, kids, grandkids (ages 4 and 6). This year we enjoyed a fabulous one week stay in Jennifer's beautiful home. Days were spent on the beach which is located just across the street. The house itself had a big beautiful kitchen where we prepared meals plus a lovely dining room, lots of windows, spacious bedrooms - everything we needed. We spent evenings enjoying glasses of wine on the deck overlooking the lake. It was perfect. Our favourite wineries were Grey Monk and Arrowleaf. We also enjoyed amazing ice cream sandwiches at the OK Cafe which was a short walk and was near a park where the kids could play. I highly recommend.
