Ty's house was perfect for our family gathering of 11. It is secluded with woods between it and neighboring houses for complete privacy. Ty was there to greet us, give us a tour of all the amenities and answer our questions. It was clear that he loved this house, took great care of it and expected his guests to do the same. We cooked all but one meal for the week using the beautiful and well equipped kitchen. The propane grill was also in great, clean condition as it was kept in the garage when not in use. The long indoor dining table and outdoor picnic table on the deck were perfect for our large group. The sound insulation in the house between rooms was superb. We had a toddler sleeping in a room directly above the lower level rec room and couldn't hear a ping pong game in progress. It was also convenient having a downstairs TV room where we could put on a movie for the kids while the adults played a game upstairs. Thank you Ty and Beth for sharing your home with us!

Family Vacation was great in this home and location. Adults and grandchildren had plenty to do: lake activities (and Ty had 2 kayaks for guests to use, as well as various games), biking was great in the area, town of Sutton’s Bay close and plenty of eateries and shopping, can rent paddle boards/water crafts/kayaks. House was exceedingly clean, if we had a minor issue, Ty was immediate with response and super friendly and helpful with local area advice. Spacious areas, between main floor, finished basement with great game room and outdoor decks/porches…everyone could space out or be together if wanted! Kitchen had everything a cook could want, appliances nice, office space perfect size and furniture extremely nice. We all thought it might have been our best Family Vaca ever, mainly due to the quiet, peaceful and beautiful home Ty shared with us and the abundance of activities for all to participate in. We had a wonderful stay at Ty’s place! The house had everything we needed and more. This was our first time traveling with a multigenerational group of 14 and we were very comfortable. Ty has thought of everything for his guests - the kitchens (upstairs and in the basement) were well stocked, and there is a lot of outdoor gear to enjoy the bay. Ty was very responsive to any query we had and made us feel right at home.

Ty was a very friendly and accommodating host. His beautiful lakeside home was the perfect place for our extended family reunion. It provided plenty of room for both kids and adults to spread out and relax. The well-appointed kitchen was very clean and included all the cookware, dishes, and utensils we needed to prepare and serve large family meals. The spacious deck offered a lovely view of the water with lots of comfortable seating. The lower level walk-out was the popular spot for evening campfires. The front yard was perfect for playing lawn games with the kids. We appreciated our location close to Suttons Bay and enjoyed its array of shops and restaurants and nearby bike and hiking trails.

Wonderful spot for a large family lake vacation in Northern Michigan. The house is new, modern, comfortable, and private with a spectacular water view. You hardly have to leave the property. Our kids loved the private sandy beach just feet from the back door -- though the water bottom is rocky, so bring water shoes for wading and swimming. Expansive grassy front yard was a great spot for our kids to run around and throw a ball.
