Everything was as or better than expected. The home was clean and very comfortable. Lovely yard and deck. The river was beautiful, especially when the moon was on it. There was a Sulfur smell in the water, if you are not used to it. It was a bit of a Déjà vu it reminded me of my mom’s home. We will be booking the river House when we are in the area again. I highly recommend this Home.

This was the most unkept and unsafe property I’ve stayed at. From the back door lock falling off, the loose front door handle with no deadbolt, curtain rods falling off the wall, and a bed frame that was actually detached from the headboard, we didn’t feel confident/ comfortable going to sleep the first night. There was a noticeable stench of must and dust as well, like it hadn’t been stayed in for a while but nothing was cleaned before our stay. The sink is deteriorating, the used sponges in the sink are poor taste and in under 5 minutes of walking in the front door our socks were filthy. The area was nice and peaceful, neighbor is kind, but other than that, find a different place…..

We went as a family weekend trip. The home is peaceful and located right on the river. There was recent snow fall and they cleared the driveway, but they didn’t clear the long pathway leading to the house, which would have been nice. Upon entering, the living room was clean and they provided local treats and recommendations to eat. The rooms are a decent size. The two bedrooms upstairs have an opening where the walls don’t go up to the ceiling. That resulted in being able to hear each other like you were in the room, definitely a lack of privacy. Beds were ok, one head board was broken. One of the showers had hair in it and a used bar of soap. The home wasn’t dirty per se, but could use a deep cleaning. As others have mentioned the water has a strong sulfur smell and although safe is very unpleasant. We went to Rosco Village for food, drinks, and a little shopping. It was a really cute area and all the people were friendly. Overall it wasn’t bad for an overnight.
