We stayed on Davaar Island during Storm Kathleen but despite the winds the cabin kept us warm and the views are amazing. We had everything we needed and Ned and Toni couldn’t have been more helpful. We would have liked to sit by the fire pit and star gaze - next time with better weather 🤞

What a magical place, we even had the good fortune to have sunshine and blue skies for most of our visit! The location was spectacular, with views of snow capped mountains on the Isle of Arran all the way over to the port of Campbeltown. Looking out over the sea we saw sea birds including lots of gannets, birds of prey (peregrines), regular visits from an inquisitive seal and even dolphins - at a distance. Watching the sun set from the balcony or better still, sitting next to the lit fire pit, was very calming. The cabin was very well equipped and we were amazed that all our stuff including a sizeable supermarket sweep (with fridge & freezer overflow conveniently nearby) fit without tripping over things. The low-ish ceiling on one side of the bed was very manageable. Toni and Ned were brilliant, supplying the most comprehensive and useful pre arrival info pack we’ve seen, answering random questions, giving us a very warm welcome including out and about! We’ll certainly be back.

from booking through to (sad) departure Ned and Toni made us feel at home. they were warm, friendly and orientated us to the island. The place and surrounding were stunning and comfortable, one of the dreamless vacations I've ever had. Seals right outside your window, nothing but the soundof the waves and nature around you. all the equipment you need for it to feel a home from home. Made all the more magical by Ned and Toni. If your thinking about staying, you ABSOLUTELY should! You won't regret it xxx

It was everything we were looking for and more . Ned and Toni were great every step of the way keeping in contact and also giving us our space . This beautiful , peaceful and cosy gem is definitely one we will be back at .
