Very cozy stay!

We stayed here for 4 weeks after moving to South Bend for a job at Notre Dame. It's an apartment in "The Pointe" complex (not in a "Kasa" building). We got a very good long stay discount by booking for 28 days. It was a perfect place to stay while we explored South Bend as the location is very central. Cosy and warm even in the middle of an Indiana winter (with snowstorms!). It's not fancy, and there were a few little glitches . I had to change the living room lightbulb, the kitchen light flickered sometimes, and the bathroom sink plug was dicey. The kitchen is well-equipped with coffee machine, electric stovetop, oven and microwave. The washer and dryer are big and work fast. There is ample parking. The bed is big and comfy and there's a big TV with various apps pre-installed (although quite a confusing interface). There's a comfy couch and enough room to do yoga. Big closets in hall and bedroom. Kasa says you cannot get mail delivered, but you can once you know your apartment no.

There's an exterior door very close to the unit but is not available to use for some reason. This makes entering and getting to the unit take much longer than necessary and is a pain. The location is great for South Bend. One of the few somewhat walkable areas of the city and close to some nice places and amenities. The unit itself was very clean and comfortable. The building has some strange smells here and there as you walk throughout.

l loved this spot! I really enjoyed the amenities and apartment structure. A perfect stay for a work trip. Parking was easy and having a full kitchen and fridge was exactly what I needed.
