Lisa and Larry were both exceptional hosts for our weekend stay. They made us feel like family. The cottage was enchanting and beautifully decorated. The beds and linens were luxurious and the marble tub is a work of art! The cottage was very clean and welcoming. The added touches of our favorite drinks and snacks and a beautifully arranged charcuterie tray were very much appreciated. Although a late Friday night check-in and a rainy Saturday kept us from strolling the grounds, we enjoyed the beautiful flowers and trees and pathways from the cottage windows. Even my husband commented on the full and colorful window boxes, and he rarely takes notice of things like that! I cannot say enough about the hospitality of Lisa and Larry and their Hobbs & Rose cottage. I am going to be recommending a stay here to friends and family and am looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Cottage is absolutely warm and charming. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The gardens are nicely laid out for an evening walk. So serene. Your landscaping and hardscaping are immaculate. We appreciate the comforting hospitality as well as the eggs, snacks, wine, and charcuterie board. We highly recommend your piece of paradise to others and hope to come back again.

Charming cottage beautifully decorated in a quiet setting. Gardens are lovely, chickens/ducks were delightful, and hosts were kind and thoughtful. We enjoyed our stay, even though the weather derailed our plans. The fresh eggs made for an incredible breakfast. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Wonderful location - beautiful cottage. Hosts were friendly, supportive, and provided extras that were very much appreciated. We could not have asked for a better experience. The cottage is located within a short drive to the lower Delaware beach communities, is the epitome of serenity!

We were beyond satisfied. Lisa provides a relaxing retreat filled with necessities. This is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, to reflect and find peace, or visit the many nearby sites. You can soak your worries away in the gorgeous tub and provided bath salts. There are beautifully maintained grounds to explore, chickens that provide fresh colorful eggs and ducks to see. Every detail shows the charm and hard work this family puts into it. And the personal touches like surprising us with snacks, wine, etc were much appreciated. Like they say, "you understood the assignment". We cannot wait to return.
