We had such a wonderful experience. The photos don’t do this house justice! It was super cozy with a convenient fireplace and plenty of games to keep you busy. The deck and backyard was absolutely spectacular. It’s nicely maintained to walk right to the creek with beautiful string lights lighting up the way. I wish it was warmer to use the kayaks, but we definitely took advantage of the outdoor fire pit. It a beautiful environment. We will definitely be coming back!

This was a beautiful place! I am in love with this cabin! We really enjoyed the kayak..So peaceful on the river... it was really beautiful! Perfect getaway! Thank you very much! We will be back!!

Chris was an excellent host who took a proactive approach to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. His instructions and house rules were straightforward and easy to follow, which made us feel more at home. After two days of hiking in Rickett's Glenn, the cabin provided a perfect, cozy retreat. We enjoyed our stay so much that we hope to return in the summer to kayak the creek!

Chris was helpful from the start, offering check in and house info proactively. He was friendly and responsive to questions. The house is out there, but that's what we were looking for, and it is within 20 minutes of Rickett's Glen, which is what we were looking for (and beautiful!). We had everything we needed, including a spot for a fire at night and a lovely deck overlooking the creek. Overall we were very happy and had a relaxing weekend at Chris's place. would recommend!

Quaint, cottage in the woods. Cozy, had everything we needed. Path to the river was perfect, even in winter. Peaceful. It was a nice getaway for me and my best friend.
