Great stay, excellent location - would stay again

We had a fabulous holiday. The Lochan was comfortable, cosy and modern. Well equipped too. It was great to have a smart TV and the log burner was fantastic. The best bit was the location, the view spectacular, so peaceful. We didn't want to leave. We love this area.

We stayed here for 3 days and we were lucky enough to get lots of January snow. The location and surroundings are beautiful. The lochan is spacious and clean and easy to find. The wood burning fires, inside and out are a lovely touch. We had a wonderful time!

Fantastic property and host. We were genuinely upset to leave The Lochan. Carlo is a fantastic host and looks after you throughout your stay. Will definitely be staying here again. Thanks again for making our Christmas one we will never forget.

Perfect! Just what we wanted, exactly what we needed and precisely as described. Cosy and spacious wee house that has been very tastefully furnished and decorated. It contains everything you need to feel right at home and some luxury touches like electric blinds which make the view in the morning all the more special. Both bedrooms are lovely - beds are firm but that suited us fine - and the showers are hot and plenty powerful. Living area was cosy but there’s a wood burner for extra warmth and delight if you need it and a fire pit/chimney & seating outside too which would be really nice on the right night. We were staying with an 87 year old so not really suitable for us. She loved the place as it was all very “easy” for her being on one level and being such a clean and comfortable space. We would love to return but even if we don’t, I can bet our friends will as we’ll be recommending to everyone! Oh and Carlo was a great host - great comms before and during our visit. Great! ☺️
