The Airbnb is perfect for a long term rental. The neighborhood was nice, perfect for daily walks.

Alicia was very nice and easy to reach. She did allow me to do an early check in which I appreciated. The original check in instructions had the wrong address so I did go to the wrong location and have to contact her but it has now been fixed. There were workers there quite often to work on the front house and they would be parked in the driveway and so I would have to either move out out from behind them when they were done or they would move for me to pull in front of them. There was supposed to be a parking registration thing to be able to park on the street but I was never told she got it so I just parked in the driveway. The place is not close to a lot of bigger grocery stores and there are quite a few homeless people in the area. The place itself was quite dirty when I checked in so my mom (who was visiting during my check in) and I had to do quite a bit of cleaning which is primarily why my rating is lower because with the price of the place I would have expected it to be significantly cleaner. There is a private back patio which is nice but not any furniture out there for you to sit so I never used it. It was a good size for me as I stayed there for a month by myself. The heater is pretty old so it’s loud when it’s on and it went out twice when I was there. The AC unit would blow stuff out of it onto the couch when on as well that I had to clean each time I had it running for a while. The stove and oven are gas and 1-2 burners didn’t work and the oven nob also was non-existent so I was not able to bake anything in the oven. There is a laundry area that you can use that is specific to Alicia’s different tenants that you get a key to but once again even though they were supposed to be new I went a couple weeks after they were installed and the washers had hair and possibly what looked like dog or cat hair all over them so I ended up not using them but to wash one load of towels. Also, there were a couple different stray cats that I came across roaming in the back yard of the main house by the casita.

Great place, great host. I stayed for about a month while I was apartment hunting. The studio has everything you need.

Main house was under construction but she never bothered to mention that, sink left outside, the swamp cooler didnt cool, wifi not working at first and host had no clue what id or password was, after an hour of pressing her to find it I had to go to another property to find the sticky note that had the wifi password and ID. hard to get a hold of host, floors dirty, handsoap was hidden in a back closet, toilet broken when i arrived and she refused to call a plumber. She knew in the morning it was broken and did nothing. Tried to flush for the first time at 5pm and it was still broken. Her response was that she knows! Construction workers at the front house offered to change hose the following day to get it to work, back gate left unlocked and she told me to supply my own lock if i wanted it locked. Shattered glass all over the driveway, only half the light bulbs worked. Paid 1900+ for 4 weeks and regretted it immediately. Completely irresponsible. The pros are the neighbors were friendly, thats it. Airbnb refunded me thankfully
