My husband, two small boys & I had the exact experience we were hoping for! Just a quiet, relaxing getaway in the mountains. The home is the last house at the end of a very windy gravel road going up the mountain (I definitely recommend 4WD or AWD). The view is beautiful, & the home itself was perfectly clean & cozy! We all slept great as the beds were super comfortable. We also really enjoyed the delicious coffee on the back deck each morning, & my older son had a blast playing on the slide out back. Nothing negative to mention at all! We loved our visit & we highly recommend!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful, relaxing and our kids loved the slide. We also enjoyed the drive on the road in and out the kids had a ball! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a mountain getaway!

End of the Road Retreat is set up perfectly for a peaceful escape. They've clearly thought it through to go beyond providing just what might be needed and added plenty of little extras to make the stay special. Thank you, Rusty and Jayme!

We loved our stay at End of the Road! This place was awesome! Everything is so well thought out inside and outside the cabin. We loved sitting by the fireplace inside and the fire pit outside. I enjoyed my coffee on the deck in the morning while the sun came up. The view is absolutely spectacular. Jayme was incredible with responding to my questions before the trip. She was quick to respond and gave me a ton of recommendations for what to do nearby. We recommend Showalter’s Orchard/Old Hill Cider as well as the many breweries in Elkton/Harrisonburg. We will be back to this beautiful cabin! Thank you!
