This home has a beautiful, big kitchen and the common areas are nice and large to accommodate a larger group. We had three couples and didn’t use one of the queen bedrooms in the cabin, so it would easily accommodate a 4th couple. The outdoor games are fun and there is a nice large deck with jumbo chess set, cornhole boards and giant Jenga. But we mostly took advantage of the big outdoor fireplace — the host has outdoor blankets too for those who are not warmed enough by the fire. There are cabins and houses across the road, but we still felt like it was peaceful and private. For dining indoors, the table seats 6, but then there are 6 seats along the bar and two bar top tables with two chairs each, so there are 16 spots to sit and eat. We would stay here again. Lots of pasture land around the area do you drive past deer, Longhorn cattle, and exotics. Easy drive to Main Street Fredericksburg.

We had a great stay! We were looking for a spot to star gaze outside of town at night and do wine tasting in the day - it was absolutely perfect for this! Location was private and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was adequate for cooking meals in. The game room, some kitchen utensils and outdoor furniture could use some updates. We would definitely stay again.
