The biggest problem was the cleaning. The sheets on both beds smelled used and also had hair on them. The extra blankets were also not washed. We contacted the host and he suggested to get a new set from the laundry room but the laundry room was disorganized so we could not find clean sheets. Also, there were ants on the couch, when we lifted up the cushion there was a lollipop and some other candy that was left behind. The location is convenient to Monteverde and Santa Elena, it is on a main road so it is a bit noisy. The balcony was nice and had a view of the forest.

One of the best places we stayed at during our trip! The host was very accommodating and responsive. This stay was very spacious and well furnished. Access to a laundry was a plus. The soundings were beautiful and fairly close to food and activities. I personally enjoyed being able to peacefully watch birds and other animals from the balcony. The road is well traveled so some road noise was moderate but it was not too much of a bother. Definitely would stay again on the future.

Would have been a great stay but the ants were awful. The apartment had everything we needed and was close to restaurants and stores. The backyard view was stunning! Access to laundry was a plus. The biggest issue we had were the ants. They were on the sofa, in the bathroom and all over the kitchen despite us storing food scraps in the fridge and taking garbage out. We were fine without AC but it would have been nice to have at least one screen on a window to prevent bugs from coming in.
