Location is perfect if you want a combination of great views with access to amenities in town . It's reasonable walk uphill to the apartment but it is worth the effort to get such amazing views !

llaria had a neighbor greet us and help us during our stay. Nina was lovely in helping us with the keys and how to get around town. Please note: coming from the center of Amalfi there are 150 steep stair steps that one must climb to get to the apartment - that does not include the walk on level ground. So to say there is a hike up to the apartment is an understatement. If you have any hip, ankle, knee, feet issues this would not be the best location for you. The view from the room is stunning. The kitchen is well equipped if you plan on cooking - we did not as we were on vacation. There is plenty of space for additional people or family members to sleep and eat. As she states there is no AC or Wifi which is really needed as this is on the second floor and the standing fan doesn't help much.

Overall, a beautiful apartment overlooking the coast. Truly gorgeous! Some suggestions to make the stay even better would include a more seamless pickup. It was very confusing having to meet her neighbor with her car so she could pick us up in town? Why couldn't this AirBnb just post the address and have our driver drop us off? Additionally, we felt a bit awkward dealing with the neighbor instead of the owner of the BnB. Nina was amazing and such a delight, but, as a business-minded individual, I am not paying Nina. It should not be the neighbor's responsibility. Overall, no real complaints. I probably wouldn't stay again just because I would rather be closer to the city center, but it was perfect for our 3 days.

Although the panoramic view of the ocean and the town of Amalfi are absolutely spectacular from the kitchen and bedroom balconies, we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the apartment. The bathroom was very cluttered and dirty and did not feel like it was cleaned prior to our visit. The shower overflowed and there were about 10 half used bottles of soap and shampoo and a loofa that looked like leftovers from someone else's stay (not to mention the smell that seemed to come from the washer –we had to keep the bathroom door closed for the duration of our stay). The fridge was extremely dirty and could have easily been cleaned. Overall, it's a very old apartment that needs renovations. However, the wonderful views and the physical location of the apartment are ideal. We would recommend this apartment to someone who appreciates a good view/location, but doesn't mind living in what we thought was an old apartment that needs a good cleaning.
