Nina's place was beautiful, I loved the outdoors, she had some games and the house is pretty big. Nina was super responsive and I loved all the recommendations she gave me for things to do around the area, those were REALLY helpful. I only have one thing I did not appreciate: the cleaning fee is extremely expensive (more than the actual rental) for it to have a coffee machine full of bugs in the water tank and for all the utensils to be dusty. Made me think no one went to clean the place before our stay. And then, I'm asked to take out the trash from all the rooms and remove the bedding before we leave....? I understand not leaving a mess but for the cleaning fee price, the rest should be taken care of. Other than that, we loved the place, it's super peaceful, I love that it has several bathrooms, that there was wood ready for us. We enjoyed our stay, for sure!

This was our second visit to the Squiggle House, and we had an amazing time over the weekend. This home is tucked away in the woods and is the perfect place to get away from the city to enjoy solitude and nature. The Airbnb is conveniently located just 5-10 minutes away from the town’s grocery stores, coffee shops and retail. Nina is very responsive as a host and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We highly recommend renting her properties if you’re looking for a quiet home and love being surrounded by nature. We can’t wait to come back!

This is a great spot. I have stayed here twice now and would recommend it to any bird lover or nature lover. There are plenty of walks on the property to take and the neighbors are far enough away you don't feel like they are there. It has been developed a bit since I was here last and foresee a possible campground on the property in the future. We are interested in staying in the neighboring house which has a pool next time. Love this place, and can't wait to return! Only 2 hours from chicago.

I had a wonderful stay at Nina's place! The atmosphere was peaceful, it was very clean, and the surrounding area offered nice walking trails. One of the highlights was encountering lots of deer during my walks. I highly recommend Nina's place for a relaxing getaway!

I’ve stayed on this property twice in two different houses and I can say this is my favorite fall trip destination for a one night stay! I’d surely do a weekend long stay next year!!
