Normally I would have just written “nice place and nice stay” but being involved in the hospitality industry for many years, I realize the value of revues, not only for the establishment, but for the potential guest as well. So this is geared mainly with the client in mind: The correspondence with host during the booking process and prior to arrival was prompt and friendly, also very informative regarding surroundings and amenities. Due to my late flight, they were also very accommodating with my late check-in and ‘special request’ to purchase beverages on my behalf, prior to my arrival. I was met at the security gate with a friendly manner and my luggage was attended for with keys being provided for both electronic gate of secure off-street parking and separate entrance and the unit, which is situated upstairs with a view of Table Mountain and 2min. walk away from Grand West Casino and all the restaurants it has to offer. The place is located in a quiet neighbourhood, away from traffic noise on main roads, with the unit being open-plan, very clean and neat with modern finishing and offering a lot of natural light. It is furnished with cutlery and crockery for two persons, an air-fryer, micro-wave, kettle and toaster, all clean and in good working order. In the fridge, you are provided with bottled water and fresh full-cream milk, accompanied on the adequate kitchenette workspace with brown sugar, tea and a premium quality coffee. This includes a stainless steel zinc and a clean drying cloth, drying rack and Sunlight liquid soap for dishes. Floor to ceiling built-in cupboards with sufficient space for hangers and folded items and a three-quarter bed are in immaculate condition, with an aluminium coffee-table and two chairs making up the rest of the unit. Reliable Wifi connection is included with a download speed of 33 Mbps and upload of 25 Mbps. The modern glass shower cubicle is super clean and is equipped with a soft trickle shower-head and elaborate space for soaps, shampoos and conditioners and a fresh, new towel. There is an adjustable mirror for men shaving and a full-length mirror for women dressing up. The place is spotless and the hosts friendly and I would highly recommend for a value for money establishment.
