It was such an easy check in process. Mayra was able to meet me outside the location to give me the parking pass and take my bags. The service was amazing and I am definitely coming back to stay again when I am in the area. 10/10 would recommend this loft. Thank you!

Good value - best part about this airbnb was the location and host communication. They were very responsive and provided tons of details on the arrival and made check in smooth. Location was very walkable which was great - walked everywhere besides to and from the airport. They even provided a parking space which is rare. Only thing is a few people in my party woke up with bug bites that resembled bed bugs during our stay - could have been a bug or insect outside but would recommend bringing a bug repellent of some sort and itch cream either way, could be a good idea to check around beds and such as well.

Positives: Good overall communication, Very response to a plumbing issue. Good central location. Easy in and out, nice not to have keys to keep track of. Negatives: I chose this listing for the dedicated work space. I never found it, I worked at the kitchen table. I don't recall seeing the washer/dryer. While it is true the listing does not mention a dishwasher, I don't think a person would look for that. There is a laminated sign on the dishwasher saying it doesn't work and wasn't included as an amenity. Being laminated tells me there is no intention of repair. It didn't bother me, but may bother others. I booked before the Oct/Nov reviews I now see posted, and didn't see the other alerts to noise. I stayed a Mon-Fri and the noise grew in level and duration as the week went on. What I also didn't realize is the street is actually closed from mid/late afternoon through the night, so you have to navigate half a block with your bags depending on your arrival/departure times

If you are going to San Diego for a weekend to party until 4 am and not be in the airbnb then this is your place. This is an extremely spacious apartment right in the thick of the bars in Gaslamp quarter. Positives: responsive hosts, virtual concierge is extremely helpful including meeting us and helping with bags, very informative check in information. The apartment is extremely spacious with high ceilings and all basic amenities. We were able to walk everywhere from the Marina to Balboa Park to Little Italy. Negatives: The music and noise and low bass on the weekends was a nightmare. Some tips: turn the AC on high, close the door, bring a speaker and play low bass white noise on spotify. then and only then is it manageable. I will say that the noise was much more manageable / nonexistent Sunday night.
