From the cabins to the outdoor pavilion, every aspect of this property is thoughtful and beautiful. All the things we needed, we had. The views and sunsets were unbeatable.
This cabin retreat was a wonderful place to get away and be in nature while still being close to amenities. It was beautiful, quiet and relaxing and had plenty of space for our family (with a lot of children) to run around and play. The outdoor pavilion area is covered which was very helpful as it rained during our stay. The outdoor camp oven does work but be aware it is hard to keep it to temp so it works best as a warming vessel. Miriam was a dream to work with, she was very responsive, willing to answer a multitude of questions, was flexible with our check in time, and inquired about our stay afterward.
Miriam's home was very peaceful and secluded. It was a perfect place to "get away", but close enough to towns/ grocery stores. There ended up being 10 of us in our group. There were enough beds for everyone, although if there were too many more people, I think the sleeping situation would have felt too cramped. The A/C in all of the rooms worked extremely well and was much appreciated. The outside area is where we spent all of our time, and we did probably 90% of our cooking outside. The gravel road up to the house is very steep and has a few tight turns. We were able to park our 2 trailers for the Jeep/ dirt bikes/ side-by-side at the bottom of the driveway and never worried about anyone getting into things.
Gorgeous location. Everyone got up the driveway fine. It's quite the climb. 😃 We all just hung out in the outdoor area. The outdoor kitchen was the best. We all had the best time cooking outside. The cabins were clean, and there's plenty of room in all of them. The locals were pretty friendly! Found a nice river not too far from the cabins. Overall, it was a great stay and a great time for all. I highly recommend this place. The host was awesome and quickly answered our few questions that we had. Took care of an issue immediately for us also.
