We loved our stay in Villa Casanova! The house manager, Ana, was really responsive and helpful as well as flexible with great communication. The historic nature of the house made us feel like we were really experiencing the area, and the frescoes on all the ceilings were wonderful. The bathrooms were also very modern and clean.

From start to finish the house was perfect. Extremely helpful staff and support team - helped us arrange everything. Polite, pro-active, flexible. I cannot say enough about the excellent hospitality we received. Excellent value and a superb location.

Excellent property. Definitely recommend having a car rental to get around the local areas and greater Lake Como. The town is walkable, but up a hill. About 10 minutes. Having the car made it easy to go to the grocery store and coffee shops quickly so we could focus on touring. Leno is a great quiet town to make as a home base for exploring. A bit buggy at dawn and dusk, but they had insect repellant, coils, and citronella candles available. Amazing host. They helped us arrange extra cleaning service at a reasonable extra fee. Always helpful with local recommendations and know-how. Frequently checked in to make sure all was ok.

We loved staying at Villa Casanova. Lots room for our group. Beautiful gardens and spaces to enjoy. The pool is a real bonus. Local restaurants and shops close by meant we had everything we needed to enjoy Lake Como.

Villa was wonderful. We were a party of 11 and were very comfortable. Villa is very authentic and quite historical. The grounds were amazing with plenty of room to spread out. The view from the upper deck is utterly spectacular. It’s important to note (like most large villas) there is no air conditioning. However, fans were provided and worked great. Our only struggle was separating the garbage into the required multiple bins for recycling purposes. Each bin is put out on a different day of the week and was somewhat hard to keep track of. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would highly recommend this villa (especially to large families).
