Welcome to our wonderful Danish summer house. The interior is light and cosy with an open kitchen and living room area, complete with a wood burning stove. There are three bedrooms, two of which have double beds. There is a small bathroom with a toilet and shower. We have a large garden and terrace, which is often visited by local wildlife. The charming town of Liseleje and it's wonderful sandy beaches are located 15-20 mins away by foot (or 5 mins by car). The house has everything you want for a relaxing getaway. Space to chill, play, eat, and wind down. The garden is very big, private, and sunny and has a wilde variety of flora and fauna. A short walk along roads full of other cosy summer houses takes you to a town with a grocery store, bakery, cafés, shops, galleries, ice cream parlours, and restaurants for both take away and dining in. The wonderful beach is wide, sandy, and surrounded by dunes.

Het huis staat op een heel mooi plekje. Het huis zelf is wat verouderd en aan onderhoud toe. De badkamer is wat klein en primitief. Maar dat neemt niet weg dat we een heerlijke week hebben gehad in dit huis. Host is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Wir hatten als Familie eine wunderbare Zeit in dem hübschen Holzhaus von Kirsteen. Es ist super ausgestattet, nötige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind schnell per Rad zu erreichen. Ebenso ist der tolle Strand mit klarem Wasser in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen. Kirsteen ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, stets online oder telefonisch erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können einen Aufenthalt nur empfehlen.

Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Zudem gab es viele Informationen zum Haus und zu der Umgebung. Kirsteen ist eine top Gastgeberin.

Perfect summerhouse for a couple of family with small kids. It has all that you need for a relaxing stay, well organized, with a very private and quiet garden. The location is fantastic with easy bike ride distance to Liseleje beach and Grønnehavegård. If you like biking, it is also an easy bike ride from Frederikssund station. The host is very nice, flexible and available.

Aside from the local town, Liseleje, there are several other cosy seaside towns nearby. To the west a 10 minute drive away is Hundested, which has a harbour with restaurants, supermarkets etc. And to the east, about a 30 minute drive away, is Tisvildeleje, a very popular, up-market seaside town which has a couple of nice hotels and plenty of good clothes shops, restaurants and cafés. Frederiksværk, the biggest town in the nearby area, is 10 minutes’ drive away and has a few big supermarkets and other high street shops.
The summer house itself is less than and hour’s drive from Copenhagen, making it easily accessible from the capital city.
