Penny is very friendly and her place is very cosy. The room was very comfortable with a great breakfast bar. Easy access to good dog's walks.

We had a lovely stay with Penny, she was friendly, considerate, the perfect balance of hospitality and allowing space. Penny directed me to a beautiful walk up to the beacon and I enjoyed the hill walk to and from the train station through the town square to her comfortable, clean and cosy home. We took advantage of riding buses into Lake District and pottering around vintage craft shop where I found some treasures to bring home. Penny kindly provided some toast and cereal and tea and coffee facilities which were very welcome after a long train journey. I would highly recommend a stay with Penny, a caring and friendly host who was so accomodating to our family.

Great place to stay, Penny is welcoming, kind, laid back and attentive, a brilliant host. Felt very relaxed and enjoyed the room and Penrith. Will definitely return. Thank you, Penny!

penny is worthy of being super host, welcomed me and my dogs as if we were old friends. Great facilities. easy to walk into town, but getting back is up hill. Great selection of in room breakfast options. doggy biscuits for my two constant companions lots of hot water for a great shower in the morning

Penny was an amazing, generous and friendly host. My stay was incredibly comfortable, I felt right at home. The airbnb was nicely located, with lovely surroundings.
