Beth is always a SUPER SUPER HOST! The most beautiful home. On the Bluff. Close to everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen. The BEST communicator. What a lovely design of a home. I always love the safety and security of knowing that she and her husband are right there. The location of the cottage is ideal. It’s close enough, but separate enough = perfect. I’m so grateful for all of the little touches, and the local TV networks, especially during our crazy Southeast U.S. weather. Also, I truly appreciate the “parking on premises.” As a guest, I never have to lug my luggage and books 100 steps or up stairs. This is a FLAT, and you park your vehicle right next to the cottage. Then, inside the cottage you can do your laundry while you work, which is what I did as a writer. Thanks again, Beth. Simply the best! Thank you for a great night’s sleep and a writer’s dream of a place. And, I love the upstairs life in the rain. Peaceful to listen to the roof rain drops.

This was our second time here and we enjoyed it once again! It’s a beautiful quiet spot on the bluff but very convenient to get around Hoover and Birmingham. We were here in the fall and loved seeing the foliage but all the flowering trees of spring on this trip may have been even better! We’re moving to the area in a few weeks but we’ll definitely recommend Beth’s place to friends who are traveling this way.

I cannot say enough thoughtful words about Beth as a host. My most recent stay, and I am a repeat guest, was just as perfect as all of my other stays. Ideal location to enjoy a peaceful stay on their residential property. Beautiful home. All the provisions are provided as listed. When I need to work, write, counsel, minister or facilitate retreats in this area, I always choose to stay with Beth and her husband. Safe. Secure. And, the parking on premises is priceless. It’s literally the easiest AirBnB I’ve ever booked to park on their property, get into, and out of. What a blessing! Their genius in building a lovely cottage on the bluff with a view is a gift you will want to enjoy. You are safe with them on site while also enjoying your own privacy. This was a perfect little spot to stay in Birmingham. It was such a lovely home with great views. The host Beth was very friendly and considerate.
