We found Marilyn’s to be very well stocked , quality fixtures and fittings, exceptionally clean , quality bedding and a real gem in terms of being disabled friendly ie large bedrooms and general layout suitable for wheelchair/ scooter mobility. Both bathrooms were also disable friendly. A great venue for a family with a member with a disability and / or suitable to accommodate a multigenerational holiday. Marilyn was very accommodating, friendly and helpful.

Monaro House is probably the best appointed holiday rental we've ever visited! The location at River Heads takes in lovely views of Fraser Island, has quiet surroundings and is about 15 or 20 mins drive to most areas of Hervey Bay where you can find all the resources you need including a great cafe and restaurant culture. The house is very spacious both inside and out with an unusually generous array of home-wares which made our stay easy. The huge block of land was ideal for our 9m trailer with boat on board to be housed off the street. Both two-legged and four neighbours - are delightful and we particularly thank our excellent Host, Marilyn, for her personal care, local introductions and fabulous attention to detail - a very caring Host! Marilyn’s place is one of the best set up Airbnb’s I have ever stayed at, everything has been thought of, the house is immaculately clean, and Marilyn was super helpful and quick to respond to any messages. We only came for short 2 night fishing fishing trip but we loved the house will plan to come back with the family in the near future.
