Summary: Squeaky clean, thoughtful amenities, great communication, and less than 1 min walk down to the beach. We would definitely stay again! Pros -Modern updates inside the unit -Gorgeous ocean front view ( you can hear the waves 🌊 !) - great water pressure, and tankless water heater -amenities: beach towels and chairs, and food storage containers , quality coffee maker ( with coffee filters , blender and toaster !) -Elevator up to the third floor - Great amount of space for 2 ppl - text based communication with Viktoria and company - Safeway grocery, Target, Kihei downtown: with several greats spots to eat - all less than 10 minutes driving distance away - no clean up chores at checkout Good to know: - personally wasn’t expecting an open air layout to get to the room - personally wasn’t expecting exterior building /resort to be built some time ago but was extremely well Cons: - NONE, if this fits your budget, then book it now, you will not be disappointed!

Everything was exactly as it was described. 180 degree view, right on the beach. The maintenance staff is incredible. They are silent and almost invisible, but the grass is trimmed, pool immaculate, sidewalks rinsed and free of sand before dawn. The building is very close to the ocean, and the sound of the waves hitting the beach never stops, even when there is little or no wind and the water is smooth. Emails are answered immediately. This is not a busy, active location. No noisy crowds. It is great for peace and privacy. The beach is fairly narrow, and since the wave motion is constant, the water is not clear, so this is not a good place to snorkel directly from the beach. The ocean floor is fairly rocky, but invisible, so there are not many swimmers here either- another plus if you enjoy privacy. Overall, a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the whales!

We have stayed at Sugar Beach in the past and it is a great location to stay on Maui. Our condo was advertised and is oceanfront. It is nicely updated and was very clean and organized. Highly recommend. .
