Ca Blai de Brull is a house in the historic center of Tivissa with fantastic views over the town’s rooftops and the sunset. It’s ideal for families or friends. I’m renting a double room with one king size bed and shared bathroom on the third floor. The house has cozy common areas shared with other guests: living room, kitchen, toilet, and a lovely bright common breakfast-living room with kitchenette, as well as a summer terrace and rooftop. Fully equipped and with wifi. After spending 5 years sailing around the world, I moved to Tivissa to fulfill the promise that I’d made to my mother: to work on my family's land and become an ecological cherry farmer. I left behind the boat adventures and my previous work in the publishing world and museums, for a new life in the countryside. In 2020 I decided to open to the public this house that for decades has belonged to my family and transform it into a holiday home. It is a very special place that I want to share with those of you who want to come and discover the amazing Terres de l’Ebre. You’ll enjoy a very quiet stay and the best sunsets in Tivissa from my rooftop. I would love for this house with so many memories to become a place with a new life, and I hope to do so with the guests who dare to join me on this adventure.

Laura is a lovely woman with an interesting story, and is now renting out several rooms in our family's former large home. A typical "vertical" village house, there are a lot of stairs, but at the top she has made a communal space complete with kitchen that all guests have access to. Laura is super-responsive, lives 10 minutes away, but will give you instant replies on her ph one to anything. There was an issue with the heating while we were there (and the village is cold in winter), but by the second day she had made great efforts to find a solution both for the bedrooms and the shared space above. It was our first time on this side (the back) of the LLaberia mountain, and Tivissa is actually quite a bustling village compared to most! Finally, we always appreciate hosts who are willing to accept dogs like ours. We would be happy to return in the spring, and wlll try for the room with the on-suite bathroom. Todo muy agradable. Nada más llegar te encuentras con un pueblo y un paisaje muy bonito. Laura, una persona encantadora, muy atenta y agradable. La casa también estupenda, muy cómoda, completamente equipada y con dos terrazas con unas vistas preciosas. También hay una buena variedad de desayuno. Muy recomendable y si se vuelve a dar la ocasión, repetiremos.

Amilcar y yo estuvimos dos noches en casa de Laura. La comunicación con ella fue rápida, colaborativa y resolutiva manteniéndose así durante toda nuestra estancia. Ella nos recibió con una alegría y energías positivas que nos llenaron de encanto desde el primer instante. Su alojamiento es acojedor, tranquilo, limpio, sincero, práctico y muy coherente con su presentación de perfil y su historia vital pasada y presente. Además, desde sus terrazas, su casa tiene unas vistas increíbles de la montaña y los campos de Tivissa florecidos con el inicio de la primavera. También, desayunar en su cocina-comedor y ver el amanecer nos presenta toda la dimensión de su entorno natural lleno de conciertos de los pájaros. The house is located in a very quiet street in the historic center of Tivissa, a 2-minute walk from l'Església de Sant Jaume, built in Renaissance style and containing a part of an old Gothic church inside. The town center still preserves its ancient charm. I recommend wandering around the narrow streets to discover the traditional architecture and the remains of the medieval walls.

Después de pasar 5 años navegando alrededor del mundo, me mudé a Tivissa para cumplir con la promesa que le había hecho a mi madre: trabajar las tierras de la familia y hacer un relevo generacional agrícola. Cambié las aventuras en barco y mi trabajo previo en el mundo editorial y los museos por el cultivo de la cereza con una visión agroecológica y de proximidad. En 2020 decidí abrir al público esta vivienda que durante décadas ha pertenecido a mi familia y transformarla en alojamiento turístico. Se trata de un lugar muy especial que quiero compartir con quienes queráis venir a descubrir las Terres de l’Ebre. Me gustaría que este acogedor espacio con tantas historias se vaya convirtiendo en un lugar con una nueva vida y espero hacerlo junto a los huéspedes que os animéis a acompañarme en esta aventura.
