We had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful and Helen and Joe were amazing hosts. They made us feel at home right away and like family. My grandchildren all became avid fishing lovers! They loved petting the horses and goats. Wonderful memories making somemores around the firepit at night. We never left the property except to go to the Renaissance Festival and the kids wanted to leave early so they could go back to the ranch! I highly recommend Soma Ranch!!!
We had a great time at Helen’s place! She and Joe were very thorough in their walkthrough of the property! It was such an amazing space to get together with friends and relax for the weekend. Everything we needed was there and it was very close to town. For our little group it was perfect.
We hosted 10 bridesmaids and our family of 6 at Soma Ranch for the weekend of my daughters wedding at a nearby wedding venue. Using the house for the family and the studio for the girls worked perfectly and the accommodations were well represented by the photos and even exceeded them. The large kitchen, great communal dining area gave us plenty of space to all gather, eat and hang out. The quality of the beds, linens and towels met our high expectations and the air conditioning was outstanding in the summer heat. The grounds are super relaxing and Helen and Joe could not have been nicer hosts. The house was well supplied with extra coffee and teas (like 50 different kinds) and all else you needed to enhance your stay. The new expanded deck recently added in the back was fabulous for lounging and, although we did not use, the hot tub and large lap pool looked very inviting. I would happily rent the ranch again for such and occasion or just for a relaxing family get away! All of my guests loved it! Thanks Helen and Joe!

My husband and I love living in Montgomery, TX. We've been married for 30+ years and still like each other = best success! We love sharing our property, bringing an extra sparkle of joy to someone's stay and helping like minded folks relax, enjoy nature and hopefully feel better by spending time at Soma Ranch. Silly things make me happy: chocolate caramel ice cream, kombucha, warm tea, junior mints, movies on the big screen on our back deck.
