Pros: We had a family vacation recently and it was 16 of us. Nathan & Micaela’s place was great. There were enough rooms to accommodate everyone and the house was open and airy. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor area and the kids didn’t leave the pool they had a blast. We rented 2 golf carts and it was perfect to get us to Altos de Chavon with all the restaurant to the beach and the marina. Micaela was great, she was easy to communicate, very responsive and helped us put together every aspect of our stay including dinner reservations at Onnos. Cons: We requested some grocery shopping to be done prior to us arriving. We were not given the receipt right away but when we finally received it the bill was quite high and in reviewing the receipt we realized it had 5lb of shrimp for $100 USD that we never ordered or ate and specifically said no sea food/shellfish allergy. We called it out and the chef/maid started behaving unprofessionally and made some folks in the house feel uncomfortable.

Our two families had a great time at Casa Carter! The house was beautiful and comfortable, the pool was gorgeous and the staff was friendly and took great care of us for breakfasts, a few lunches and a dinner on our first night. Nathan and Micaela were extremely helpful in organizing every detail. We hope to return!

We had a great time, beautiful place, excellent service, a place to spend a few happy days and enjoy the most important thing in these days when we are experiencing security. Thank you for providing your beautiful place to enjoy our stay and something that I only learned from past experiences: the place is more beautiful than I expected. We hope to return soon.
