New for 2023 - we have finally connected the Duckhouse to the Internet ! Situated in the heart of the National Forest within a 10 acre boundary. The Duckhouse is a self contained building ( think large caravan size )within the large garden. The Duckhouse is small but has everything that is required for a short break. There is immediate access to amazing countryside and this lends itself to guests wishing to enjoy a quiet walking break. There is a large 24 hr Tesco near junction 13 M42. This accommodation is a small self contained building at the edge of a stream next to an orchard with a small bedroom with a Superking sized bed and terrestrial television. A small shower room with large shower inter connects both rooms. The third room has a sofa bed and basic amenities for food. Microwave / fridge/ kettle/ toaster / utensils and crockery. Enough room for a dog to sleep on the floor.

A wonderful stay that was perfect for getting out and walking with my dog. Very comfortable, with a number of lovely pubs within a short driving distance to enjoy evening meals.
The Duck House is small but perfectly formed! It suited our needs perfectly. Laura was very helpful and always available when needed.

Beautiful location and perfectly situated a stone’s throw from Staunton Harold. The bedroom is spacious but the living space is very compact so more suited to having 2 rather than 3 guests. Ideal for a one night stay to attend an event at Staunton Harold.
This accommodation is surrounded by lovely countryside, with great pubs and beautiful walks nearby. Cosy and compact, warm and comfortable and a welcome for four legged friends too. Perfect for two, plus dog, for a peaceful break. The host was lovely and helpful, suggesting places to eat and giving directions for walks. Her beautiful horses and goats were adorable too.
