the view is superb, Tsering and his mother is quite helpful and prepare delicious food.as it is a village area,so carry basic items and toiletries.also in March its quite cold even inside the room,so bring plenty of warm clothes.

Fursat is a lovely, small cottage set in pristine, quiet, verdant location where you can see a million stars, gulp in fresh air and be surrounded by thick forest. Only an off-road vehicle can take you up the steep, rugged roads after Sonada station where you quickly climb up and soon reach the forest area. Then there are a couple of steps that must be climbed before you reach the hilltop where the cottages are located. Tshering and his mother are excellent hosts belonging to the Shrepa community who are known for their warmth and hospitality. This is an excellent attempt by them to become entrepreneurs and provide a unique travel experience to travellers. Tshering is warm, jovial, helpful and extremely mindful of our interests and expectations. He arranged for the cab rides, local lunch prepared by another host during our outing and an absolutely lovely bonfire under the stars. There is uninterrupted internet connectivity and a constant supply of hot water for tea etc. The only thing we recommend is that the chimney is fixed so that travelers' comfort are taken care of during the extreme winter months. They did provide us with an electric heater which was not as effective in the January cold as we would have hoped. A highly recommended place for people looking for off-beaten stays away from the maddening bustle of towns.
