Exclusive use of a traditional tented camp for a minimum of 6 adults - fully catered with 8 staff. From June-Oct, ‘Leleshwa’ Seasonal Camp is set up in Ol Derekesi Conservancy on the Mara Reserve border overlooking the Sand River, a part of the Mara first to receive the wildebeest migration herds as they cross to the plains of the Maasai Mara. The camp includes all meals, drinks and safari activities (including unlimited game drives) - see full details in 'Other Things to Note' section below. The camp consists of 7 luxury tents (all double or twin), accommodating one party of up to 16 people. Our spacious, custom-made tents are set on raised earthen platforms and all have a private verandah with views over the Sand River valley and hills beyond, and en-suite bathrooms, with flushing toilets and piping hot safari showers. Enjoy day & night game drives, bush walks, Maasai interaction, splash in the Sand River & enjoy having a very special part of the Mara to yourself. Activities can be tailored to your group to ensure that kids and adults are kept busy whilst on safari. Explore the area with picnic lunches into the Maasai Mara, laid out for you under the shade of the trees, set up around camp and the surrounding area or just relax during the heat of the day.
