A fabulous home from home. The house is very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The location is perfect for a peaceful holiday, but well placed to explore the island. This is the third time that we have stayed at Church House and every time we love it! We will definitely be back.

Delightful stay. Church House was very clean and such a lovely peaceful place to stay. Nice size for 3 of us. We were lucky enough to meet Sara who has worked hard at making Church House a pleasant place to stay. We would definitely stay again. For me personally not having the car on sight was a little inconvenient as I have some disabilities (just a note for anybody else with similar problems)but the parking across the road is very safe . Thank you for the lovely welcome gift in the fridge too 🥂🥳. Bonchurch is such a great village with lots of history.. Thank you Sara Forrest a perfect stay ..see you soon 😘🥂⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great cottage for a family, has everything you need. The parking is the only slightly annoying thing as it's across the road on a street with no parking restrictions. The roads are very steep but also very quiet. So it wasn't much of an issue. You can walk down to the sea in a few minutes, though not really a beach, more a concrete sea wall. You can walk the whole way to Ventnor along the sea wall, though it is currently being repaired, so closed off until late 2023. It's a 15 minute walk to the local shops in Ventnor. Overall it made for great base for getting around the island. 40 minutes to the Needles, 30 to Compton Beach, 10 to Shanklin.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful area. The facilities inside the cottage were very good (lovely powerful shower) although the dishwasher is awaiting a part so does not work. We couldn’t get the rotary clothes dryer up in the garden but that may just be we weren’t strong enough. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it (we being 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 7).

an absolutely beautiful well appointed cottage in a remote little village by the sea....it was the perfect place to escape the world for a week! the only thing to be aware of is that the stairs were a bit of a nightmare with a toddler which is obviously no one's fault
