Was in Surigao for a day and needed a quick place to crash. Juancho’s spot was a great place to stay the night last minute—close to downtown and the ferry port. Juancho was also very communicative and allowed us to check in early (appreciated that!). Some appliances and lights in the house were broken but most likely from the recent typhoon. Clean towels, toiletries, & water were provided which is heavenly for any backpacker looking for a quick shelter. Overall grateful to have come across this spot.

The apartment is two-storey and very spacious. Smooth communication with the host even we checked in very late. There’s also a wide parking area in front of the apartment itself. The place is also clean and pet friendly. The downside is that all the toilets inside the two bedrooms of the second floor are all clogged. The sinks, faucets and showers aren’t working too, there is no water sometimes. So we need to go down to the first floor’s CR to have our bath and shower or take restroom break. The air-conditioning unit in one bedroom with balcony is too small, so it’s getting really hot in the morning going to noon time and there was no fans available to use for alternative. The kitchen is not that well-equipped, there’s a stove but has no gas range. However, host is helpful and will give assistance. Hope it would be improve soon!

The place was very spacious and the host was very kind. It was a last minute booking because we had an issue with the ferry schedule but Mr. Juancho and family were still able to accommodate us right away.

Good place, water was weak at 2nd floor but ther are pails you can store water. Host are ready to help .
