We had a wonderful 6-week stay in the Shipyard Condominiums that are part of Truman Annex in Key West old town. Ty and Alli (and father-in-law!) were gracious, responsive and very attentive to the details. The condo is quiet, and the Truman Annex is by far the best place to be based for a Key West vacation of any length. Only 2 blocks or so off Duval, yet none of the madness. They were great about accommodating us for a long-ish stay. I would highly recommend their unit for a couple (and maybe a family - as long as everyone is OK with sharing a bathroom!) and the back patio was lush and made spreading out easy. We even celebrated Thanksgiving, with our two adult daughters who came for the long weekend). Small kitchen but really well equipped and our turkey dinner was a success! Thanks for a nice ending to our fall semester sabbatical.

Ty's place at 204-8 Southard is truly a sanctuary. Although just 2 blocks from Duval the Truman Annex location was quiet and pristine. The condo itself is a cozy two bedroom refuge that is perfectly represented in the units photos. The back deck with the large table and umbrella are great for dining or a relaxing cocktail. What makes this condo so desirable is LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!! You are literally steps from some of Key West's most popular attractions. 366 steps to the Green Parrot (yes, I did count them). You are just minutes from Blue Heaven, the Hemingway house, Ft.Zachary Taylor, the Truman White House. The list goes on. Ten minutes to Mallory Square and 15 minutes to the Southernmost Point. We spent 53 days at Sailor's Sanctuary and I drove 12 miles and that included two trips to Publix. Lastly, Ty is extremely responsive We did have a few questions upon arrival and he replied in seconds!! If you are able to book Ty's place consider yourself lucky. We were!

A great place in the Shipyard section of Truman Annex. Convenient parking, one block to Green Parrot, two blocks to Duval St, and one to the Truman Water Front Park. A 10 minute walk to Mallory Square and lower Duval. Unit is well maintained and they give you sufficient supplies for the kitchen and bathroom unlike some places. Easy to reach and very responsive when you need help.
