The positive: Matema is beautiful, and the location of this tiny house is amazing to go exploring the beautiful surroundings. The view of the mountains is amazing, and it is lovely to sit and watch village life take place. The tiny house has everything you need for simple living, nothing more but that is okay. It is very cute, and romantic. We stayed 4 friends, and while it was a tight fit it still worked very well for us. The negative: The pictures on the listing need a serious update. Where we thought we would be on a beautiful nature ground - there was a house being build on the same plot RIGHT next to the house... it definitely ruined some of the charm and idyl, and made us feel a bit “lied to” - as it, more or less, felt like a construction zone. A simple picture update could fix this to better help guests know what they are getting. Further we struggled significantly with tiny flies, and while the owner is not at fault, we felt the house could be better prepared for this.

Really nice place, feel at rustic home. And the hosts are really reactive 👍 I just feeled a lack of privacy with the neighbours

It was ...such a great experience.... From Cooking....closeness to the lake.... local food to hiking the mountains. The Bali side of Africa..

Just perfectly what we were looking for! Beautifully located simple hut with the possibility to get yourself a fresh fish, go to the market and then heat up the pans. We enjoyed it a lot! Thanks!

Wunderschönes Häuschen in Nähe vom Strand :) Hat alles was man so braucht :) Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und die Nachbaren begrüssten uns auch immer sehr fröhlich :D
