William’s place was extremely well located as a base for adventures in Washington, DC, as it was just a 10-15 minute drive to the monuments and museums on the National Mall. We also enjoyed being able to walk to Northside 10, a wonderful, reasonably priced restaurant that we returned to three times during our four-day stay. Street parking was super easy, as was access to nearby stores ranging from Target to Total Wines. We felt the value we received by staying here was superb.

Great place, good location, less than a mile to the new Potomac Yards Metro Station. We had one issue come up, and William went above and beyond to make it right, certainly more than any big corporation would do in a similar scenario. Overall we would definitely stay with William again!

My husband and I brought 2 children with us. They had their own room. The Metro was close by to ride . Really clean and easy.

I visit this area annually for a conference. This was the second such time I’ve stayed at his location. It is homey, clean and comfort. Just minutes away from the conference. I will look forward to staying there again next year.

Our stay was just okay. We did have issues and William did reimburse some money. I want to say that William was kind at the end of our stay; however, he was not responsive, the house smelled of smoke, it was okay clean but not exceptional, there were basically no amenities or extras... not even Kleenex. The linens had been changed and the bathroom semi cleaned but that was about it. The backyard needs some basic upkeep and didn't feel welcoming at all. It is a 3/4 mile walk to the Metro which is doable but uneven sidewalks and through an area we didn't feel comfortable walking after dark. The parking situation is less than desirable. I sent one recommendation question before we arrived and he responded 3 days later with an apology. I sent a message the morning after we arrived late at night with 2 issues and didn't get a response until our last night 4 days later. William did apologize and did refund some money but we would have much preferred full cost and no issues
