Howdy! We are Cam and Emily, and we hope you enjoy our home! A little about ourselves... Cam dabbles in several different businesses. He is a real estate investor, specializing in both long term, as well as vacation rentals. He also owns his own personal training business. His hobbies include snowmobiling, dirt biking, off-roading, working out, volunteering in kid's ministry in church and anything outdoors with Emily and their 2 "puppies". Emily works for an interior design company, and helps clients design their finishes in their newly built homes. In her free time she enjoys working out, hiking, playing volleyball, and spending time with the dogs (and Cam of course!). We now have vacation rentals in both Ouray, CO as well as Grand Lake, CO. To start, a little about Ouray... We fell in love with Ouray for so many reasons. First off, the beauty and ruggedness of the mountains surrounding this little mountain town cannot be matched. Unlike so many Colorado mountain towns that are getting commercialized, Ouray still has a "mountain town" community feel to it. Everyone is so nice and welcoming and they appreciate your visit. There are SO many things to do there, and all those activities are at the top of the game when it comes to comparing to anywhere else. ("The Switzerland of America", The "The Jeep Capital of the World", "The Ice Climbing Capital of the US", the amazing Ouray Hot Springs, many people call HWY 550 the million dollar highway, or the most scenic road in America, just to name several) And then Grand Lake... It was always Cam's dream to have a "Cabin in the mountains". That dream finally came to fruition in 2022 when we launched our 5BR/3BA lakeside lodge. The build process was a long one, consisting of Covid, as well as Grand Lake having the largest wildfire in Colorado's history. To say our cabin is a dream come true would be an understatement. The views of the mountains and lake from the cabin are breathtaking, and the town Grand Lake has become like a second home to us. There is so much to do; snowmobiling, hiking, off-roading, boating, and then there's the boardwalk in town that even has a play theatre. We are currently almost ready to release our next cabin gem, a 3BR/2BA "midcentury modern mountain" cabin, and we are currently in the build process of a 6BR/5BA "Scandi" lodge, both next door to each other, and within 1/4 mile of the first cabin. Anyway, I could go on and on, but ultimately we hope that you will choose to stay with us and experience Ouray and/or Grand Lake through us, and we will do our best to make you want to come back to us again!
