Beautiful property and the rail car was a very comfortable and well appointed space. It was larger than it appears from the pictures. Much more impressive in person. Looking forward to returning with more time for leisure.

Great place to stay. Clear instructions. Wonderful Welcome Book on the coffee table. I don’t drink coffee so it would have been nice to have the ability to make tea. There’s no TV, No WiFi, no T-Mobile cell service. It’s a great place to be unplugged but took getting used to. Verizon has cell service. Needed the heat & there was a strange smell, probably from not having been used in a long time. Loved the idea of staying in a train car. Everything was clean. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely recommend & consider coming back.

It was a very nice stay for a romantic getaway. Rassawek was very informational. Everything we needed was there. One thing I really liked was I didn’t have to talk to anybody there was a key code box. The only thing I would change is maybe getting a tv or Wi-Fi but that’s just my personal opinion other then that we had an amazing stay!

My husband and I stayed in the Boxcar, and our son, daughter-in-law, and 3 boys (2,3, and 6) stayed in the Pullman Car. Staying in the train cars was an absolute thrill for the boys, and with the wonderful setup of the trains, depot, general store and lodge, complete with streetlights and huge fire pit, we felt like we had our own private little town! The cars were tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. We could utilize the Lodge, with a full kitchen, grill, inside and outside tables, games, and the largest-ever wood glider. The grounds (1,200 acres!) were beautifully landscaped and well-manicured, and we didn't lack for places to explore or re-purposed equipment and buildings to see and learn about. There are multiple ponds, and the boys were quite excited to catch fish! The treehouse and swing were fun, we walked the roads and trails, played lots of games, and thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful family time! Everyone on staff was wonderful, and we would highly recommend Rassewek!!!
