We recently spent a night at Wattle Grove Retreat to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and both my husband and I agreed is one of the best places we have stayed. The house is set in an absolutely stunning location, full of character and history, which we loved, with all the touches of modern convenience. The decor was stunning throughout. We loved the welcome basket and homemade pizza bases which Kim had thoughtfully left for us. We had a lovely night cooking pizza in the outdoor oven, and chilling in the hot tub. We hope one day to return to Wattle Grove, hopefully next time we will be able to stay a little longer. Thanks Kim and Geoff for a magical stay.

The house and gardens were absolutely beautiful! The kitchen and bathroom are recently renovated and the undercover deck has a spa, a BBQ, a pizza oven and seating for 8 ppl. There is a fire pit 20 metres and 3 acres of garden just waiting to be explored....and did I forget to mention the orchard with loads of apples, lemons and kiwi fruit. We had three generations of family with us and everyone enjoyed their time at Wattle Grove. It is also only a 15 min drive from Devonport and Sheffield.

Beautiful private property with amazing views. Our kids loved picking fresh fruit from the orchard and smelling all the beautiful flowers growing in the garden. The location was great, roughly an hour to Cradle Mountain to do some hiking and an hour from Launceston to visit some attractions there. The house is fairly well equipped, lovely welcome basket with lots of special little treats. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Wattle Grove.

The historic house and gardens were simply beautiful. Great little touches everywhere. We had a great time - loved every minute.
