The train. While it is only mentioned in a few reviews, it is very disruptive and these details would have helped me when I was booking. It is a Via passenger train located directly in front of the house. It shakes the house and the horn blast is loud enough to wake you when sleeping and hear when doing other activities. It occurs at least once per hour, sometimes more often. Late night, it occurred at 1148pm, 1207am, 1237am and began again at 6am. I stayed in late December. Perhaps in the summer, the noise may be deadened by the waves. I was disappointed Kati was not able to provide any info when I specifically asked about it. An important positive is Kati was very understanding and apologetic when I shared I needed to leave early due to the noise. She was easy to work with on a refund, which I appreciate. Other aspects of the space are absolutely beautiful (sparkling clean, well stocked, cozy and comfortable, gorgeous view). I was disappointed it didn’t work out.

Very clean and newly renovated place. Beautiful view of the water. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, serving ware, pots and pans etc. Comfortable beds, linens, towels, etc. The backyard is well landscaped and spacious with an inground pool, bbq, and a nicely shaded patio area. There is a passenger train track directly in front of the house that is fast so we were able to adapt to the sound. We will definitely choose this place again.

The view from Kati’s place is incredible. I’d love to visit again in the summer! The back yard space is even bigger than I imagined and looks like it would be such an oasis in the summer. Inside it was cozy and comfortable. There were extra blankets and plenty of towels. Our check in was super simple but I feel like if we needed anything Kati would have been very helpful! There was a great restaurant just around the corner and it was within walking distance to our venue. We definitely enjoyed our experience!
