One of the best places in DC! The location is perfect. It's in the city but it still gives off suburban neighborhood feels. This is super clean, very quiet, and spacious. You can tell is was recently renovated because everything works properly. The owner really did a great job with this place. He was extremely nice. Excellent communicator, will get back to you within minutes if you have questions. Highly recommend!

My stay was phenomenal! As expected, the apartment was very clean, quiet environment, and only a couple blocks away from the Navy Yard! Not to mention, Greg was very accommodating to our needs/requests. We'll be back in September!

Great value for our family! We have two young kids and spent 9 days at Greg's place while checking out D.C. Greg was fantastic about quickly resolving any problems that arose during our stay and had a fast response time. There's a full kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms (one twin, one full). The kids shared the smaller bed and that worked out great. We cooked a lot of our own meals since we have a child with food allergies. For families with kids, we recommend taking the bus to the playground at 9th and Penn in the city. It's a really good one with water sprinklers in the summer, and it's right around the corner from Starbucks, Trader Joes, a couple of bookstores, and other shops and restaurants. The kids loved it and we went back a few times. And if you want to stock the fridge, take a bus there and Uber back! This location is in easy walking distance to bus lines into the city which we used daily. I recommend getting a week long bus pass to save on fares. Other things to do? The Smithsonian museums are all free if you reserve a timed pass which includes the National Zoo. Not free but worth the ticket price is the International Spy Museum. At the beginning you get a badge with a secret identity and complete missions at kiosks throughout the museum. It was fun and interactive, which again is great for kids. One thing to note about this space is the larger mattress isn't the most comfortable. It's very firm and a mattress topper would probably help a lot. But there was plenty of space and you can tell a lot of work has gone into painting and updating. The TVs had Disney+ which was exciting since we don't have that at home! The kids were watching Luca on repeat and we got to check out some of the Marvel and Star Wars shows. The central air was also very nice since we were there in the middle of summer and most days temperatures were into the 90's! It's always few degrees cooler downstairs than upstairs, so adjust the thermostat accordingly. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return!

This place will be really nice in a few weeks when Greg has finished the renovations. You can tell a lot of work has gone into the place - but it is still a work in progress and we struggled with it feeling like a construction site (it smelled like fresh paint for our 5 day stay, there was dust on the stairs and bedroom from dry wall work, and the washer and dryer were not installed). Greg was very communicative - which we appreciated, and the location is fairly convenient for driving into DC.
