FREE beach pkg lot just east of Bogue Pier. 2 kayaks, 2 bikes & beach chairs. Luxury shower, gorgeous full kitchen. Outdr shower, patio, charcoal grill. Linens provided. Off street pkg. Close to everything! You must be 21 or older to book. Anyone 21 or younger must be accompanied by parent/guardian. The light and bright kitchen, large custom shower, comfy king bed and a cozy tv/lounge room, this beautifully finished space calms the senses. Whether you are looking for peace and quiet or 'fun in the sun', we've got it all! Sleep long and deep in this quiet hideaway. Enjoy a quiet morning cup of coffee on the patio, then make your own breakfast or walk or bike for some local fare! Enjoy our beach by driving, walking or biking to our FREE neighborhood gated oceanfront parking minutes away. Pack light as we have beach towels, chairs, and coolers all here! Our large outdoor shower is a MUST after a hot day on the beach! Explore the area and enjoy the local flavor of our restaurants, watering holes, and shops, go fishing and/or walk to the seafood market and bring home your own catch to cook on the grill! The birds will delight you around the patio morning and evening, and the landscape lights make our outdoor space special at night as well. Walk to the little pier around the corner and catch the sunset. Kayaking on the sound is magical. You can catch sunrises AND sunsets on our south-facing island so be sure to set your clock "10 minutes till" to chase them!

We knew immediately upon arrival we had made a great choice. Lori and Mark have created a beautiful space that has all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and patio. The amenities of bikes, beach access and beach chairs made it easy to explore. We can’t wait to return.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Lori’s place. Can’t ask for much more — a beautiful house, minutes from the beach, access to kayaks and bikes, and great restaurants within walking/biking distance. The place is spotless, and has everything one needs. The outdoor shower is a great addition. Lori and Mark are very welcoming hosts. Would recommended this place to anyone. We hope to be back soon!

Our stay at Ahuna Matata was exceptional. Lori and Mark are super friendly and helpful hosts. We’ve had many Airbnb stays over the years and this one is a true standout. The unit was spotless, quiet, fully equipped, we lacked for nothing (we had the best sleep here as well, bed was so comfortable). It’s a very short walk down to the beach (5-10min) and it’s nice to have the private parking lot to use if needed. There were very clear instructions for everything and definitely watch their YouTube channel where Mark demonstrates how to run or use various things in the unit. The Airbnb is in a friendly neighbourhood and only a 5 min walk to the sound side. We would love to stay here again🤞and have every intention of returning. Thank you Lori and Mark!

Our neighborhood is a locals favorite - a great selection of restaurants, bars, shops, ice cream and coffee shops all within walking/biking distance. We thrive on fun in the sun at the "C Street Access" or the Point, and meeting up with friends at a local spot for a drink or dinner in the evenings. For all the activity on the beach and along Emerald Drive, it is still very quiet back here in our little oasis. Enjoy 'beaching' on the ocean, or kayaking the sound under a Carolina Blue sky, and grill out on the patio in the evening. Walk over to the “little pier” and watch the sunset. Close by trail will surprise you with a peaceful wooded setting in our protected maritime forest!

This is a great walkable town. The bike path along Emerald Drive is a perfect place for a walk or ride. Bike all the way to the Point, or just stroll up and down our neighborhood streets to see the funky, fun cottages and trailers! Head over to the “little pier” around the corner to catch a sunset, or to the beach strand early in the morning. Easy walk to breakfast, dinner, or out for ice cream! Trails for more adventurous hiking in wooded areas are located close by and across the bridge in the Croatan Forest.
Nearby attractions - the aquarium in Pine Knoll shores, downtown Swansboro, Morehead City - home of the Big Rock fishing tournament, and beautiful historic Beaufort- home of Blackbeard the pirate! Visit Fort Macon in Atlantic Beach and Cape Lookout - all wonderful day trips.
