Elevated, cozy condo on the hill of Stateline NV, with extended view of the beautiful woods. Minutes away from Heavenly and only 10 minutes away from Heavenly’s gondola area in South Lake Tahoe. This 2 bedroom condo, fully furnished with essential amenities, is perfect for two couples or a small family to relax in a quiet area after visiting the village and casinos, or after a day of hiking. Tahoe is beautiful and the trails are not far away. Come visit! The condo is nestled above the road by 5 sets of stairs, and very private with an open-space view of the hills. The open interior design connecting living room and the kitchen makes the condo both cozy and spacious. Hardwood floor and wooden ceiling makes the unit seem like a small cottage. Incredibly close to Heavenly's Stagecoach and Boulder lifts! === The space === Living room: Complete with TV, fireplace (also the central heat), wireless Internet, and board games for winding down on the couch. Kitchen: Full kitchen with cooktop, microwave, and oven. Comes with various utensils and silverware, pots and pans, dishware, bowls. Includes a coffee maker! We have a Keurig and a Melitta, but please bring your own supplies. Dining: Enjoy your meal next to the window with a view. Bedroom 1: Full size bed with clean sheets and its own TV. Bedroom 2: Full size bunk bed with clean sheets. We recommend that lighter folks stay on the top bunk because it can shake more. Common area: There is a community swimming pool and hot tub less than a minute drive away. === Other details === Accessibility: Be aware that our unit is at the top floor of the building. From the parking lot, you have to cross the street and climb 5 sets of stairs before reaching the unit. It is not recommended for people with accessibility issues. Food and coffee: we have a full kitchen for your use but please bring your own ingredients and items. Similarly we only provide the coffee machines (keurig and melitta) so bring your own filters and beans. Some guests do leave leftovers in the cabinets. Heating in summer: we only have heating in the unit so it can only cool naturally. The summer might get hot during the day so we’ve provided fans (2 large 1 small) in the unit. But the evenings can be chilly so we recommend opening the windows at night to let the cool air in. Please keep the heater pilot light on in case it does get too cold. Heating in winter: The unit is primarily heated via the fireplace in the living room. The pilot light is always on. Do not turn this off, and do not change the settings! To adjust the temperature, use the thermostat next to the couch in the living room. If you need extra warmth, there are space heaters in the bedroom closets. TV and Internet: We do have TV's but no cable channels. We pair the TVs with Wifi so guests can log into their streaming services. We will do our part to keep these working but the Internet speed and stability at our part of Tahoe cannot compete with big city speeds. We do not take responsibility for issues by the Internet provider. As a reference, we've only had 1 guest who came across Internet outage, but guests should assume this risk when booking.
