Things you need to know when you are going: 1. The house is at a beautiful and remote location. You can reach the house only by cable car and chair lift (important to know when packing and checking weather conditions) and then have a 15-20 minute walk to reach the location. 2. The house is not finished yet, so there is no running water, neither drinkable nor other water. So you have to flush the toilet with buckets that you have to refill with water from the basement (which might not be obvious from the photos which show a toilet and water taps etc). It also means that you have to boil the same water to do the dishes and can't really wash yourself, since the 'bathroom' sink is not connected to anything, so the water runs through. And most importantly it means that there is NO DRINKING WATER, so you have to either bring supplies, buy water at the restaurant or walk to the next village to fill up your bottles at their wells. 3. The only electricity comes from two solar panels. When we arrived the battery was already low (we were told at 20%) and since the weather wasn't that sunny in the coming days there was not enough to use light in the evening or to charge the phones. The candles provided did not give a lot of light either. We would have liked to know about these things before coming and also feel that they should be reflected in the price. We would not have minded any of these things but would have been better prepared had we known about then. The location is great, the views are spectacular and the living and bedrooms nice and cozy to spend some time away from it all in a very beautiful spot.

A great rustic cottage. We had a family of five and enjoyed our time. The cottage is truly rustic. It does not have running water or a flushing toilet yet. They are working on this. The location is also a little isolated (which we really liked). You can hike all over the mountain and the local Herdsmen are very friendly people. The cows roam all over , even just outside the cottage! We had a great time. The views are also amazing!!
